Highlights from the Egyptian Lung Health Conference 2018

The Egyptian Lung Health Conference took place at the Grand Nile Tower on the 5th and 6th of May 2018.

Attended by 140 pulmonologists ,  the conference scientific program highlighted updates in Pulmonary Medicine with special focus on Asthma as it celebrated World Asthma Day.

The winter meeting of the Egyptian Lung Health conference will be held on 15 November, 2018 and will celebrate World COPD and Pneumonia days.

Pulmonary Medicine Update Conference 2018 to host Dr Anzueto and Dr Blanch

Pulmonary Medicine Update Conference 2018 will host world class international faculty: Dr Anotonio Anzueto and Dr Lluis Blanch.

Dr-Blanch-pulmonary-ICU-EgyptDr. Lluis Blanch is Senior Intensivist and Consultant at the Critical Care Centre of Hospital de Sabadell in Spain. He is Research and Innovation Director of the Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí and Director of the University Institute Fundació Parc Taulí at Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona, Spain.

 

 

The conference will be held at the Learning Resource Center , Kasr Al Ainy, Cairo, Egypt from 14th till 15th of February, 2018.

Scientific Program of Cardiac Assist Devices Symposium organized by the Egyptian ECMO Working Group (EEWG) is scheduled on 20 November, 2017 and will take place at the Learning Resource Center, Kasr Al Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt.

The symposium will host Dr Federico Pappalardo, Milan , Italy and Dr Gerry Capatos from South Africa.

Scribe has been elected as the PCO for Cardiac Assist Devices : An Update symposium to be held at the Learning Resource Center , Kasr Al Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt.

This is the first event organized by the Egyptian ECMO Working Group(EEWG) .

The Symposium hosts Dr Federico Papalardo from Milan Italy and will provide after the symposium lectures a hands on training through simulation.

Ecmo medical conference in EgyptThe Egyptian African Critical Care Summit hosted on the 9th of January 2017 , the Egyptian ECMO day.

Attended by 140 delegates, the day presided by Professor Alia Abdel Fattah provided an ECMO Min-Course followed by lectures delivered by a panel of faculty from  UAE, South Africa ,Qatar and a national faculty from the ECMO Center of Cairo University.

Great Success for the Egyptian African Critical Care Summit

Egyptian African Critical care Summit Egypt medical conference

Attended by more than 400 clinicians, the Egyptian African Critical Care Summit held from the 9th till 12th of January 2017 hosted key Critical Care specialists from Egypt as well international delegates from Nigeria, Libya, United Arab Emirates, Yemen  and Saudi Arabia.

The summit was organized by the Egyptian College of Critical Care physicians (ECCCP).

The scientific program included pre-conference workshops on Mechanical Ventilation and ICU Ultrasonography and ECMO.
