Attended by more than 150 participants, the Egyptian Lung Health Conference presented the latest knowledge in Pulmonary Medicine.
The conference organized by As Salam International Hospital celebrated World COPD Day 2016 as well as World Diabetes by addressing the latest in diagnosis and management of COPD.
The Egyptian Lung Health Conference was presided by Professor Hosam Hosny Masoud, Professor of Pulmonary Medicine , Kasr Al Ainy, Cairo University.
The Egyptian Lung Health conference was held on the 17th of November, 2016 at the Grand Nile Tower Hotel, Cairo, Egypt
The conference scientific program included several lectures in Pulmonary medicine which were presented by a panel of Pulmonary Medicine specialists from Cairo University and As Salam International Hospital.

The Egyptian COPD Summit is proud to host Dr Antonio Anzueto as the summit guest faculty.
Dr Anzueto is Chief of the Pulmonary Section at the VA’s South Texas Veterans Health Care System and Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
He currently serves as Principal Investigator on numerous clinical research studies. Dr. Anzueto and his Pulmonary research group are currently conducting clinical studies that involve treating conditions that include Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, pneumonia, acute respiratory distress/injury and septic shock.
He was also faculty of Pulmonary Medicine Update Conference held at Cairo in February 2016.
The Egyptian African Critical Care Summit is a biennial event which represents a converging point to the Critical Care medicine community in Egypt providing them with the latest knowledge and skills in the field of Critical care & Emergency Medicine.

In celebration of World COPD Day, As Salam Hospital Chest Department will organize the Egyptian Lung Health Conference on 17 November, 2016 at the Grand Nile Tower, Cairo, Egypt.
The conference will feature as well latest updates on Pulmonary Medicine including : COPD, Asthma, Pulmonary Hypertension, Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis, TB management and Pneumonia.
Egyptian Lung Health Conference is a health awareness conference that aims to address Lung health and ways to improve patients’ quality of life. The conference will host faculty from Cairo University Kasr Al Ainy Chest Department.
The conference comes as one of the educational events organized by As Salam Chest Department after its success in organizing World Asthma Day in May 2016.
The Egyptian College of Critical Care Physicians (ECCCP) will host the Egyptian African Critical Care Summit to be held at the Grand Nile Tower ( Hyatt), Cairo, Egypt from 10 till January, 2017.
The Summit comes after the successful Egyptian Critical Care Summit held on January 2015.
The Summit will host Dr Christofer Farmer, Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Arizona, USA and Past President of Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), as the summit featured guest speaker.
The following lectures were presented by Dr Adel Abdel Aziz and Dr Mohamed Mostafa Kamel at World Asthma Day celebrated by As Salam International Hospital Pulmonary Medicine Department at the Cairo Conrad on 12 May, 2016.
The Egyptian College of Critical Care Physicians (ECCCP), hosted on 14 April, 2016 a hands-on workshop on the logical path towards lung protection which was held at the Learning Resource Center, Cairo University and presided by Dr Sherif Mokhtar, President ECCCP.
The workshop guest faculty was Dr Armin Kalenka, head of the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Department at the district hospital Kreiskrankenhaus Bergstraße in Germany. The workshop was sponsored by GE.

As Salam Hospital Celebrating World Asthma Day 2016
As Salam International Hospital, Maadi, Cairo is organizing a symposium in celebration of World Asthma Day. The event will take place at the Cairo Conrad, Cairo, Egypt on 12 May, 2016.
